High Horse Lodge is atop Lookout Mountain in the High Community in northwest Georgia. Overlooking the gulf (valleys and hills) of the mountain, it is a part of a large farm/forest area. It is between Cloudland, Ga., and Mentone, Alabama. almost on the state line.

From Atlanta @ the intersection of I 75 and 285
Take I 75 north for 49 miles. Take exit 306, Hwy 140. toward
Adairsville/Summerville. Go 16 miles. Take a right on Hwy.
27 toward Summervillle. Go 13.9 miles. In Summerville, take a
left at the second traffic light onto Ga. 48, Juliette Gordon Low
Hwy. Go 11.1 miles. At the blinking light at the top of Lookout
Mountain, take a right right on Hwy. 157 toward Camp Juliette
Low. (Look at the camp gates which we designed and built-
pretty cool).Go nine miles and take a left on Moon Lake Road,
marked with a yellow sign. Go 1.1 miles to High Horse Lodge.
The drive is on the left. Look for a large stone with "1199" on a
star on the stone and iron entrance panels of
hemlock trees with bucking horses. You are there!
From Birmingham @ airport
Take I 59 northeast for 101.6 miles. Take exit 231, Al. Hwy. 117,
toward Valley Head and Mentone. Go through Valley Head and
Mentone. After you pass the Little River Hardware on your
left and cross the Little River Bridge, take a left on Cty. Rd. 631.
It goes between two parts of Camp Skyline and you will see the
horse arena on your right after you turn. Go 5.4 miles, crossing
into Georgia. Bear right at the intersection of Moon Lake and
Flarity Roads. Go .3 miles to the High Horse Lodge drive on your
right. Look for a large stone with "1199" and two iron entrance
panels with hemlocks and bucking horses.
From Chattanooga
Head west on I 24 toward Birmingam. Take exit 167 on the left
to merge onto I 59 S toward Birmingham. Go 29.7 miles. Take
exit 231 toward Valley Head and Mentone. Stay on Hwy. 117
through Valley Head and up the Mountain to Mentone. Continue
through Mentone past the Little River Hardware on your left and
past the Little River Bridge. Turn left onto Cty. Road 631 which
goes through Camp Skyline. Go 5.4 miles, crossing into Georgia.

.3 miles to the High Horse Lodge drive on your right. Look for a
